Last weekend we made our way up North to the gorgeous Town Head Estate for Tash & Ross' big day. Funnily enough, it had been exactly a year since we'd last performed at Town Head Estate for Emma & Olly's wedding, and it's always nice returning to a venue - especially one such as Town Head.
If you haven't visited, Town Head Estate is a hidden gem of a venue near Windermere. A beautiful barn-style venue, perfect for couples looking for a luxurious, rustic and peaceful wedding day set right by the shores of Lake Windermere. With it being Cumbria rain is pretty much guaranteed, whether that's a drizzle or a shower, but Town Head Estate is one of those venues that is equally as stunning in both rain and shine!
Tash & Ross chose to book our Sunflower Package, which is our most popular package, so we arrived nice and early to get everything set up and soundchecked. Some of the songs requested were Peace by Taylor Swift, Got My Mind Set On You by George Harrison, and our favourite song of the day You Make My Dreams Come True by Hall & Oates for Tash's entrance. Tash specifically wanted an upbeat song for her entrance, as she didn't want to cry, and it was such a nice change to see her and her bridesmaids dancing up the aisle!

Following the ceremony, we moved downstairs to the covered patio to perform during the reception whilst the newly married Mr & Mrs Timms and their guests enjoyed Margaritas, Canapes, and had their photos taken by the fab Jo Greenfield. Before every wedding we ask our couples to let us know what their taste in music is, and what vibe they're looking for on the day so we can create a set list to suit.
This wedding was all about Rock & Pop Punk - Blink 182, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers. We're both pretty big Rock music fans, one of Josh's favourite bands is Foo Fighters, so we had a lot of fun prepping for this wedding, and performing on the day, 100% will be keeping some of those Pop Punk songs in our repertoire for the future!

Overall it was an absolute 10/10 day, even the rain didn't stop these guys from getting stuck in with their photos, and the mood was just electric. We've genuinely never seen a couple so excited to be announced as husband and wife, and a group of guests so enthusiastic during the ceremony. Fingers crossed we'll be back at Town Head Estate in the near future, and maybe it won't rain this time...although that's probably very unlikely, haha!!
